This page describes the browser extension AWF_saveMaster, published by Artem Ivanov (AW). It saves an image, GIF or video from the page you are on, and opens it in its own viewer. There is no account.

What stays on your computer

• The file you save, in your Downloads folder or a subfolder you chose.
• Settings, rename presets, and the viewer history (the media and the address it came from), in the browser’s local storage.
• An optional local log of saves, written only if you press “copy devLogs”.

None of that is sent to the author, sold, or used for advertising, credit, or anything outside the extension.

What the extension reads

On the site you are visiting it reads the picture, GIF or video under your pointer, and the address of that file, so it can save or open it. It does this only when you use a save, open, copy or zoom action, or when a direct media tab is opened in the viewer. It does not keep a history of every page you visit, and it does not read passwords, messages, or payment data.

Clipboard and downloads

Copy runs only when you ask for it (the copy key or the copy button). Download runs only when you save. The browser writes the file to disk.

One outside request

The settings window may load the typeface VT323 from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That request is the font file, not your saved media. The extension has no analytics and no other third party.

How long it is kept

Downloads stay until you delete them. Settings and viewer history stay until you clear the extension’s data or remove the extension. Removing the extension does not delete files already saved to disk.

The Chrome Web Store, the repository and the extension all point here. When the text changes, this same address is updated. The date at the top changes with it. You do not get a new link for each version.

Расширение сохраняет картинку, GIF или видео с открытой страницы и показывает его в своём окне. Аккаунта нет. Файл, настройки, пресеты и история просмотра остаются на компьютере и автору не отправляются. Читается только медиа под курсором и его адрес, и только когда вы сохраняете, открываете, копируете или смотрите его. Пароли, переписка и платежи не читаются. Копирование и скачивание только по вашему действию. Окно настроек может запросить шрифт VT323 у Google Fonts. Других сторонних сервисов нет.
